Haz-Mat Technician

Job Description - As a bio hazard technician you will be required to be on call for 24 hour periods. You will respond to a variety of cleaning jobs such as, suicides, homicides, hoarding issues, water damage, sewer clean up, mold, and any other hazardous material cleaning.

You will be expected to wear personal protection equipment (PPS) when cleaning up any jobs. With your clean driving record, you will be able to utilize our company vehicles. All positions are part time and on call, hours will vary week to week - you must be available for night & weekend work.

Training will be provided - a lot of on the job training will be done. Other training requirements are listed below.

Requirements:

• Hazwoper-40 hours (May obtain within 2 months of employment)
• Blood Borne Pathogens (online courses ok)
• Clean DMV (Max 1 point on record allowable)
• No Criminal Record (Misdemeanors or Felonies - Background checks performed)
• Must pass random drug testing
• Minimum age 21
• Good Physical Fitness
• Ability to be on call 24 hours
• Experience with tools/machinery/restoration a plus.
